had entered with a lot of expectation... a venkat prabhu movie is of late awaited... well... atleast the reviews were great... thats the best i can say abt the movie.
the movie opens with a song and the initial ten minutes were just to introduce us to the characters. after which i felt the opening for the four friends was too much like kal ho na ho the saif preity srk triangle re appears here,the characters had no particular depth in any of them, the dream debut that vega spoke of is nothin but a drag. the movies picks up its pace only in the last fifteen minutes. drop of a hat songs, the supposed to be tiltatting number was nothing but a joke... the movie moves without a strong story line, the song dance routine imitating the om shanti om typecast was a passable number. sad sad script, the so called funny moments were not so funny after all... the running around the place searching for one another was dragged a bit too much. after which the escaping part had the same kind of feel to it... i dont get whats so thrilling watching a bunch of people running around the place looking for each other. jararam was used only in the end that too very marginally the climax was where he walked away with the movie as such:) , prakaash raj was wasted all through the movie... why cast actors with such great potential when the role requires so less of them that they need not be mentally present on the set to assay the role???actor sampath deserves a special mention though... a good performance.
my rating poor to average. passable. watch it in the dvd and fwd it as fast as u can to enjoy the story.
